For those who don’t get the Lifestyle Channel, you can still get a lot of information on each of the episodes by checking out the Lifestyle Channel Grand Designs Aus website. You can watch videos, see 3Ds of the featured houses, and find discussions and comments from the architects, viewers etc, really quite interesting.

Architectural Happenings in Perth 
I have to say I was a real fan of the original TV show but the Aussie version hasn’t quite cut it. There seems to be a lot of the details missing and/or it’s not focused on the same issues that the English version does.
I do hope they find their feet soon though, because we’ve got some great homes in Aus and it would be nice to showcase them.
